About NewCareTec

NewCareTec is a technology commercialization venture dedicated to private and autonomous solutions which provide enhanced safety for businesses operating residential buildings.

Brief History

As we witnessed the aging of our parents, the NewCareTec founders realized that very little technology has been applied to senior living for both in-home and residential communities. Our frustration with difficulties in understanding the daily activities of our parents to be assured that they were well, without constant phone calls and intrusive video links, motivated us to begin developing technology-assisted services for seniors, their families, and their care providers.

Based on information obtained in Voice of the Customer (VOC) market research, an executive at an independent living senior community specifically identified stairwell safety as an issue that needs attention and suggested that NewCareTec might be able to provide an effective solution. We took that advice and focused our efforts on developing a stairwell safety solution.
